Señorio de Rubiós Albariño is a white wine made from 100% Albariño grapes from selected vines from the best plots of land in the subzone of O Condado.

The Señorío de Rubiós winery produces this wine within the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin. The quality of this wine is demonstrated by winning the first prize in the XXXI Cata Concurso Rías Baixas Albariño 2019, considered the best Albariño of the year.

Señorio de Rubiós Albariño is a wine with a great aromatic intensity, a fresh wine with fruity touches, very balanced and tasty, with a very well integrated acidity. It has a very marked structure and unctuousness.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Señorio de Rubiós Albariño, shows a straw yellow colour with greenish tinges, giving a clean and bright wine.

On the nose, its aroma combination is intense, fruity notes reminiscent of peach and apricot, along with small floral touches.

On the palate, there is a very strong balance that makes it unique, as it has a powerful but also silky and glyceride taste, giving a very well integrated acidity. It is very structured and unctuous in body.

Pairing. How to taste it

Señorio de Rubiós Albariño, we recommend serving it chilled, at a temperature between 10 and 12°. It is a wine to be enjoyed on hot days, when it is best to enjoy a cool wine. It is the perfect white wine to accompany seafood, fish and salads.

A little bit of history about Señorío de Rubiós Albariño...

The winery Señoria de Rubiós was born from an old idea of several local people who were looking for a way to enhance and promote the already well-known Rubiós red wines.

Thus, at the end of 2003, the first members laid the foundations of this idea and founded Señorío de Rubiós, which now has more than 100 members who work to put Rubiós wine in the place it has always deserved, by tradition, by its grape varieties and by the quality of its wines. Señorío de Rubiós is a different winery within the Denominación de Orixe Rías Baixas, as it is committed to the production of native red varieties without neglecting the production of white wines.

The winery is located in the Condado do Tea sub-area, with a clear commitment to native red varieties, such as sousón or pedral, as well as the white varieties that have always been present in O Condado, such as albariño, treixadura or loureira branca.
