Founded in 1848, the winery began its journey in the wine market with great success, which aroused the interest of the Rumasa group, which acquired it until it passed into the hands of the Jerez-based multinational John Harvey & Sons Ltd.

In 1992 and up to the present day, the company has worked under the management of the owner Don José Páez Morilla, who created "Bodegas Dios Baco" with the firm idea of entering the difficult world of sherry wines.
