If you like wine, then it is very difficult, almost impossible (if you live in Spain), for the name Ramón Bilbao not to ring a bell.
A brand that, over the years, has managed to become the benchmark for Rioja D.O. wines, exporting quality wines all over the world.
When you drink a glass of Ramón Bilbao Reserva, you notice the careful selection and combination of ingredients, which give you a fresh, fruity and intense sensation that you will surely want to repeat.
Do you know why we love Ramón Bilbao Reserva?
Because it is like a grandfather who gives you advice and makes you change the way you see things, because when you drink it you realise the enormous amount of oenological wisdom that lies behind the production of this wine, with the unmistakable flavour of the Rioja Alta.
Made with grapes from Tempranillo (90%) and Mazuelo and Graciano (10%) vineyards, this Reserva has more than 40 years of history, like your grandfather or mine.
A history with a flavour of fresh red and black fruits that evoke memories of menthol liquorice and violet candy, combined with aromas of barrel ageing such as biscuit, nutmeg, custard and cinnamon that reveal the careful balance between alcohol content and acidity that give it a perfect finish.
It's not difficult to imagine yourself sitting at a table, by candlelight (the real kind, not those little lamps from Ikea that simulate them), accompanied by your favourite person, each with a glass of Ramón Bilbao Reserva and enjoying an exquisite plate of red meats and a board of cured cheeses. You know that grapes and cheese taste like a kiss...
Ramón Bilbao is one of the Riojan wineries that has gained more notoriety in recent years thanks to the excellent quality of its wines and the constant launching of new products, among which today we highlight Ramón Bilbao Reserva because it is a wine created to be enjoyed after a few years of ageing.
A blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes and an ageing in American oak barrels for approximately 20 months give it that fruity character that is classic of La Rioja wines.
It's in the Top 20 of economic and cheap products of Red Wine and in the Top 530 of our best seller products.
