Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Golden coloured with amber reflections. When served in the glass, it leaves a light and generous tear.
On the nose it is complex and sharp with a powerful aroma of flower veil, chalk, hazelnuts, wilted flowers and saline and mineral tones.
In the mouth it is intense, slightly creamy, saline and with a strong flavour. Its finish is impressive, round and balanced with iodised notes, toasted almonds and dried flowers, the aftertaste is a pleasant round and enveloping sensation.

Pairing. How to taste it

Serve chilled in a highball glass. Thanks to its special character, this wine is ideal as an aperitif with dressings, cold meats and light cheeses, as well as with the main course, whether it is a vegetable, white meat or a good grilled fish. 

A little bit of history about Tio Pepe Fino Dos Palmas...

"Dos Palmas" refers to the sign made by the master winemaker, Antonio Flores, on the selected butts to differentiate them from those of the same age. Those selected are distinguished from the rest because they have a special finesse, delicacy and intensity. We can see a replica of this sign on the back label of the bottle, next to its description.
In this very special Palmas run, Tio Pepe has released its best finos whose degrees of age can be measured in the number of palmas.
