Ruavieja was born in Santiago de Compostela in 1889, with the Rodrigurez Ovalle family of the area. This is where the secret production of its liqueur began, where generation after generation, up to the fourth, remains intact.

Ruavieja makes its liqueurs and eaux-de-vie from a traditional production of the best Galician orujos, which are carefully selected.

Over the years, new modern techniques and quality controls have been incorporated, giving liquors of a very high quality and qualities that make them unique to their liqueurs.

Today, Ruavieja continues to be the main reference in the production of this centenary drink that never goes out of fashion. A flavour that cannot be forgotten.
