History
The story of Monster begins in 1935. Yes, it was not even foreseen that it would become a transatlantic energy drinker, but it was the course in which its germ was born: Hansen Natural. This was the name that the people in charge of a natural drinks company in Southern California decided to register, which for years maintained constant sales, but very far from grandiosity.
This was to be the case until the late 1980s and early 1990s, when a South African lawyer by the name of Rodney Sacks decided to buy the Californian company and turn its products around. He began to make his own energy drink after seeing Red Bull's success on a trip to London. However, the first steps of Hansen Natural as an energy drink were not as expected, as they failed to reach the general public and in particular the adolescent public, his most desired goal. It would take until 2002 to see the first steps of the giant that Monster has become. That year the company would bet on a new look, a change of ingredients with more sugar and more caffeine, a new name and much sweeter. A few but important brushstrokes to prove Sacks right.

Monster Energy-Assassin's Creed
In 2017, a new installment of Assassin's Creed was released, a successful video game series that navigates through history from the Middle Ages through the French Revolution and Ancient Egypt, the time when Assassin's Creed Origins is located. To celebrate the launch, on 7 December of that year a limited edition of Monster was released, starring the warrior Bayek, the main character in the video game.
