History and Creation

Salitos was born in the 1940s in Panama, but it became really popular in Mexican bars during the 1970s, when a tequila-flavoured beer started to be served under this commercial name. On the South American coasts, it became fashionable to combine the two quintessential drinks, beer and tequila, and the trend began to spread.

Salitos is the legendary beer brand of Salitos Brewing Company from Panama City. In 2000, the German company Grupo BMG bought Salitos Brewing Company, finishing shaping it and introducing the rest of its creations to the world.

Today it is expanding in more than 56 countries around the world, being a very fashionable drink among young people, a refreshing, fun combination for any occasion, and for people who like to experience new flavours and sensations.

What is Salitos? Types

A drink that goes very well with parties, following the trends of all soft drinks. It has been fashionable for some time now and has become a benchmark for several reasons. A beer of superior quality, whose unique and refreshing taste surprises, created by a premium brand, giving rise to a crazy image and full of personality, creating trends and fans.

Salitos is a beer that is brewed with a fruit wine base, flavoured with fresh red berries, carbonated and 5% alcoholic content. Refreshing characteristics far superior to those of other beers.

These drinks can be enjoyed on their own or combined in cocktails and are best enjoyed chilled with a slice of lemon.

Salitos Tequila

This is the original drink. It is a smooth beer, with lime, tequila and an alcohol content of 5.9%, very refreshing and very special.

Salitos Blue

It is a refreshing drink with only 5% alcohol made from fruit wine and flavoured with fresh red berries.
Intense blue in colour and inspired by the Caribbean Sea, this drink has become a real trend. Surprising for its pleasant taste, with fruity and sweet notes, without any bitterness.

Salitos Ice

This time it is also a lemonade with a lot of sweetness and, according to some experts, a bit of lager. In this case the alcohol volume is 5.2 %.

Salitos Beer

Contains the aromatic taste of sweet malt and elegant notes of corn and citrus.

Salitos Pink

Salitos' latest creation, brewed with berry wine and red fruits, like blue, with which it shares its brewing method and alcohol content, but with a striking pink colour.
