The history of the Legendario brand is a story of passion, innovation, and tradition. The Legendario brand was born in Cuba in 1946, as one of the 116 rum factories on the island. Its founder was Don Francisco Gerardo Smith, who acquired a walled mansion in the center of Havana, known as the House of Snakes, and dedicated it to rum production. There, they produced rums such as Santa Cruz Carta Blanca, Santa Cruz Carta Oro, and Ron Legendario, under the motto "The Three Champions in Rums."
