A little bit of history about Legendario Dorado...

Legendario rum is a brand of Cuban rum that has been produced since 1946 at the Bocoy distillery in Havana. Its history dates back to Spanish colonial times, when African slaves worked on the sugar cane plantations and fermented the sugar cane juice to obtain an alcoholic beverage called aguardiente. The aguardiente was then distilled into a stronger, more aromatic liquor, rum.
