A little bit of history about El Dorado 15 Years Special Reserve...

Demerara is the distillery behind El Dorado 15 Years Special Reserve. It was founded in 1770 and since that time they have been using all kinds of stills that allow them a unique and exclusive rum making process. El Dorado 15 years Special Reserve comes from Guyana, a country almost entirely covered by rainforest. The sugar cane grown there is considered one of the best in the world and is used in the production of El Dorado rums; they also have the oldest wooden stills (columns and pot stills) in the world.
