Why buy Whisky Jack Daniel's Old Nº7 Legacy Edition 3

The third release in the Jack Daniel's Limited Edition Legacy Series is Jack Daniel's Old Nº7 Legacy Edition 3.

A release that meets the brand's high standards of commitment and quality to pay tribute to the man who started this great story.

A whisky filtered drop by drop through three metres of saccharine maple charcoal and matured in barrels of its own making, with no set deadlines, but ready when the master distillers say so, according to its appearance, its aroma and, of course, its flavour.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

A little bit of history about Jack Daniel's Old Nº7 Legacy Edition 3...

The history of Jack Daniel's contains a lot of stories in itself, most of them far from reality. The birth of its creator in 1846, the help of a grocer in the opening of the distillery, the beginning of the distillery in 1876... All of them without foundation. However, there are several aspects that we know about the history of one of the most famous whiskies in the world. It was 1866 when Jasper Newton Daniel opened a whisky distillery at the age of 16, supported at all times by Nearis Green, an African-American slave and master distiller. As the years went by, Daniel's recipe improved, using his greatest hallmark: the charcoal maple charcoal filtering process known as charcoal mellowing.

And if his life was extraordinary, the cause of his death also lives up to the stature of his character, at least in its peculiarity. One day when he was trying to open his safe, Jasper Newton Daniel could not get it open, so he angrily kicked it with all his might. He immediately caused himself a wound, which over the days would become infected and end up costing him his life. Before his death, and having no descendants, he bequeathed his beloved distillery to his nephew Lem Motlow, who was charged with carrying on the legacy.
