The history of Blanton's is rich and varied. It highlights the fact that it manufactured its bourbon in Kentucky even before this place of manufacture was indispensable to be able to be called as such.
It also highlights how it went through "Prohibition" and how it also experienced the "Boom" when Prohibition ceased to be in force.
Two workers and master distillers stand out in its history: Elmer T. Lee and Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton, after whom the distillery was named. Both share a story of growing up and learning from a very young age in the distillery and ending this process as great experts and true legends.
The spectacular stoppers, featuring a racehorse with a mounted jockey, have become a fundamental part of the brand's identity. It can be found in 8 different shapes representing different phases of a horse race. The last one, unsurprisingly, represents victory. This makes it a perfect product for high-end collectors.
