Although many might think that J.J. Whitley is not that old, it actually dates back to 1762, when John James Whitley was managing director of Greenall Whitley & Co Ltd and G&J Greenall Ltd, the first generation of the family to make their mark.
John James Whistley was always drawn to nature and the ingredients he could draw from it, giving meaning to his life as a distiller. Today, that magic and ambition to create unique flavours lives on in his great-grandson Johnny Neill, creator of the renowned Whitley Neill Gin brand.
