Why buy Vodka J.J. Whitley Vanilla

Vanilla has been used for hundreds of years and being a flavour that is always appetising, it cheers us up, stimulates us, even takes away our stress. It has a wide variety of properties and we can enjoy it in a thousand ways... and vodka is no exception.

Natural and popular flavours are what the J.J. Whitley distillery has been committed to since its creation, and vanilla was not to be missed. J.J. Whitley Vanilla, a tasty vodka that can be mixed in the best cocktails, or enjoyed on its own.

With a delicious flavour reminiscent of a liqueur, it is made using a unique and traditional production process. They use Russian wheat and water from their own wells, 160 metres deep. This water goes through four stages of filtration to achieve the optimum balance for distillation.

In the final stage the vodka goes through a resting period. It is left to settle in a blend conditioning unit to soften the flavour. This creates a premium vodka that is warm and smooth, pleasant and fun to drink.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Pour J.J. Whitley Vanilla and you have a vodka with the bright crystalline colour that identifies it. On the nose, its blend of caramel and natural vanilla aromas become visible.

On the palate, it shows the special characteristics of this vodka. You will taste the vanilla beans from the first sip, with notes of butterscotch and toffee (a creamy sweet made with caramel syrup and butter).

It will give you an old school, very good vanilla taste that doesn't distract from the clean vodka flavour.

Pairing. How to taste it

J.J. Whitley Vanilla, gives you the possibility to drink it alone, in classic vodka cocktails or creative cocktails, as well as with your favourite drink. Its vanilla flavour and aroma makes it a very flexible vodka when it comes to mixing.

From Yo pongo el hielo, we recommend that you always drink it chilled, and we also give you a recipe, so you can prepare it for yourself or for someone you want to brighten up your day.

A little bit of history about J.J. Whitley Vanilla...

The Whitley family has over eight generations of distilling heritage, dating back to 1762. John James Whitley was the managing director of Greenall Whitley & Co Ltd and G&J Greenall Ltd until 1942. His grandmother, Isabella, was the daughter of Edward Greenall, chairman of Greenalls & Co, and son of Greenall's founder, Thomas Greenall.

John James Whitley always wanted to find fine, natural ingredients and was curious about them from an early age. Indeed, in his formative years at Chester Road, he spent days exploring extensive gardens and natural hedgerows in search of wild vegetation. This love of nature would mark his life as a master distiller.

To this day, John's drive for original flavour combinations and unique infusions lives on at the JJ Whitley distillery. It is this same drive that prompted his great-grandson, Johnny Neill, to create the award-winning Whitley Neill Gin brand in 2005 or the three-time IWSC gold medal-winning J.J. Whitley Vanilla. They continue to travel and explore the world in search of palate perfection with unique and natural flavours.

No está mal

Pensamos que estaría más bueno de lo que realmente está pero es para un gusto concreto, la mitad de los que lo probamos le gusto la otra mitad no le gusto
