When served, it has a bright mahogany gold colour with iodised tones. The nose captures an intense aroma with notes of raisined fruit, coffee caramel, chocolate and some hints of liqueur. On the palate, it is elegant, ample and sweet with notes and hints of roasted coffee, chocolate and sultanas, achieving a long and persistent finish.

This is a wine of great versatility. Excellent with desserts, blue cheeses and even on its own. It is also ideal for preparing sauces and reductions.
