Why buy Red Wine Montesierra Tinto Joven
If you live in Spain, you have probably heard or talked about Barbadillo. Well, Montesierra Tinto Joven is a wine with the Somontano Denomination of Origin, which has been produced in its winery in Pirineos applying the experience that the brand has been accumulating since 1821 and which results in quality products.
To produce Montesierra Tinto Joven, selected Tempranillo, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are used, harvested directly from the Somontano vineyards.
As a good young wine, it does not spend more than 6 months in oak barrels, so due to its short resting time we obtain the fruity flavour that we like so much in this type of wine.
Its fermentation process is carried out at a controlled temperature, which should not exceed 24-25ºC. Undoubtedly, if you are looking for a young wine that will not let you down, this is a great option.
Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste
When you go to drink a glass of Montesierra Tinto Joven, the first thing you notice is its intense cherry colour. To the eye it is also a light wine. On the nose it has a fresh aroma of berries and light hints of mint. On the palate, as a good young red wine, it has a fruity flavour that envelops you, with sweet and persistent touches.
Pairing. How to taste it
This wine is great to drink on those relaxing evenings sitting on your sofa after an intense day, accompanied by some cold meats, tapas or your favourite cheese. We suggest you try it as an accompaniment to your pasta or vegetable dishes.
