Why buy Red Wine Tarsus Roble
Tarsus Roble has all the characteristics of the best Ribera del Duero.
Made from 100% Tinta del País grapes from our own vineyards and has been aged for 4 months, with American oak (70%) taking precedence over French oak (30%) using new and semi-new barrels. Tarsus Roble has been awarded with a Gold Medal in Bachus 2016.
At Bodegas Tarsus we seek to extract the best from the native varieties and we are committed to making the most of the characteristic features of our vineyards. The oenologist, Teresa Rodríguez, is the one who leads the process of harvesting and vinification that is carried out by plots. Teresa's aim is to achieve highly concentrated wines with deep aromas.
Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste
In view it is attractive, full of life. The aroma is a combination of red and black fruit and fine, elegant wood. We cannot forget the liquorice tones so characteristic of the variety. In the mouth it is wide and tasty, and as it happens in the nose, the fruit is also present, its end is long.
Pairing. How to taste it
To be consumed at a temperature of 16°-17°C. Its ideal pairing with white and red meats.
A little bit of history
Born in Madrid, Teresa Rodríguez, the oenologist of Bodegas Tarsus, is a specialist in Viticulture and Oenology from the Madrid School and Museum of the Vine and Wine, and also holds a Master's degree in Viticulture, Oenology and Marketing. He is also a member of the Tasting Committee of the Rueda Denomination of Origin and of the Castilla y León Regional Wine Committee. For more than ten years she has been the oenological manager of Bodegas Tarsus, and she is responsible for ensuring that the good reputation of these select wines remains intact.
The grapes are harvested independently from the 21 plots that make up the vineyard. Harvesting is carried out by hand, thus allowing the selection of the bunches of grapes that are shaped and ripe. The fermentation process is carried out at the same temperature, always between 24° and 28°, to get the maximum potential from the raw material. Maceration lasts between 15 and 30 days, depending on the specific characteristics of the grapes of each harvest.
It's in the Top 50 of economic and cheap products of Red Wine and in the Top 1050 of our best seller products.
