The best extra vintage rum from Conde de Cuba, presented in an exclusive "C" shaped bottle aged for 15 years.
The elaboration of this rum went through different phases until it was bottled:
- First, the sugar cane is collected and pressed to obtain the juice, then it is boiled to obtain sugar and molasses and mixed with water and yeast for its fermentation.
- Then, the liquid is distilled in copper columns, and the resulting brandy is put into barrels to age.
- The last part of the process is done manually, we talk about bottling and labeling.
Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste
This rum presents at first sight a dark amber color due to a prolonged aging.
The aroma it gives off is intense with some notes of oak, a dry and sweet aroma at the same time.
Notes of caramel, coffee and dark chocolate flood the palate when we taste this old Cuban rum.
Pairing. How to taste it
Conde de Cuba 15 years old is a rum with enough quality to be tasted only in a low glass with or without ice. It goes without saying that it has the indisputable good partner that makes a good rum, like the Conde de Cuba 15 años, with a good cigar and, if it's a Havana, better.
Even so, if we want to accompany this rum with some food product, we can point out that it pairs very well with Japanese food.
Historia del producto
Conde de Cuba rum is distilled, aged and bottled in the Cuban city of Amancio in the province of Las Tunas in the east of Cuba. This land is ideal for the cultivation of the native sugar cane "Medialuna".
The whole elaboration system is located in the plantation, and this is reflected in the different labels that go on Conde de Cuba's bottles.
The company's Cuban rum is produced in the "Sevilla" distillery. The plantation of this distillery is located on the banks of the Sevilla River, a paradise where different types of alcohol are produced.
