Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

At sight, Melior Verdejo has a straw-coloured tone, pale with greenish touches, very clean and bright.

In the nose it gives off intense, fruity, very clear smells, together with hay and fresh grass. A very elegant aroma.

In the mouth it is structured in the right measure, fresh and with the right acidity. It leaves an elegant fruity and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Pairing. How to taste it

It can be enjoyed alone at 6-8º and can be accompanied by all kinds of light meals and tapas, especially with fresh fish or seafood.

A little bit of history about Melior Verdejo...

The well-known winery Matarromera from Valladolid decided to launch this Verdejo A.O. Rueda more than 15 years ago, since its first harvest dates back to 2005. It is aged for 3 months on lees and is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The whole process is very careful, giving rise to one of the best Verdejos you can take with you.
