This new expression of Glencadam's Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky style pays homage to the relationship between the Scottish distillery and Jerez de Andalucía. The result of this relationship is a rich and fruity expression, with a balance of sultana notes and sweet hints from the oloroso-sherry cask maturation.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

The first thing that strikes the eye is the colour of ripe golden barley.

When poured into the glass and allowed to aerate, it gives off initial soft, ripe fruity aromas, with notes of soft nougat and vanilla with a toffee background.

Finally, on the palate there is a smooth and creamy taste accompanied by sultanas, fruits and caramel apple with a long and smooth finish.

Glencadam Single Malt Reserva Andalucia pays homage to the relationship between the Glencadam distillery and Jerez in Andalucia. Master distiller Robert Fleming carefully selected the finest sherry casks from Glencadam's old warehouses to create Reserva Andalucía. At the end of the maturation process, in ex-bourbon casks, the process is completed in the casks that previously contained sherry wine.
