Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

A little bit of history about Abuelo Añejo...

The Varela Brothers' distillery dates back to 1908 when Don José Varela Blanco, a young Spanish emigrant, founded in the village of Pesé, the San Isidro colony, the first colonial sugar estate in the newly formed Republic of Panama.

Years of making the best rums with modern methods and using the blending of the best rums by the master blender.

Rum Abuelo Añejo has won several international awards, including the gold medal at the "San Francisco World Spiritis Competition" winning it consecutively two years in a row in 2009 and 2010.
