Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from the D.O.Ca.Rioja, Izadi Crianza exhibits the essential characteristics of the wine triangle, combining concentration, balance, character and a well-defined style.

The winery has 178 hectares of vineyards, 70 of which are located in Villabuena, Samañego and Abalos, with an average age of 45 years old and planted in glass.

The wine is ruby red in colour with a medium finish and creamy texture.

It is balanced with a very intense aroma and consists of notes of red fruits, liquorice, spices and light roasted notes.

On the palate, the wine is balanced with fruity and floral notes, soft smoky tannins and a long, elegant finish.

A little bit of history about Izadi Crinaza...

Bodegas Izadi was established in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón and a group of friends in Rioja Alavesa, with a focus on producing high quality wines.

The innovative winery in Villabuena de Álava and the implementation of new production techniques, combined with Antón's experience in hospitality, resulted in the creation of his renowned Izadi wine. The company expanded internationally in 2000 with the arrival of Antón's son, Lalo, and subsequently launched Finca Villacreces, Bodegas Vetus, and Orben under the Artevino name.
