This wine has been made in the traditional way, with 80% tempranillo and 20% garnacha grapes, which have been selected and harvested from the winery's vineyards in La Rioja Alta and La Rioja Oriental.

In recent years, it has been detected that the average temperature in the DOC Rioja area has increased by 1.2ºC, which led Ramón Bilbao in 2008 to study the climate in depth, alerting the market to the need for higher altitude vineyards.

In a constant process of evolution, in 2017, Ramón Bilbao's vineyards and winery were awarded the Wineries for Climate Protection certification. Today, his winery is one of the most advanced in this regard, promoting recycling actions and using 90% renewable energy.
