Why buy Red Wine 8.0.1 Limited Edition

Made with three grape varieties: 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah, from 2015, 2015 and 2016 respectively. Wine with Protected Designation of Origin Cariñena, a town in the province of Zaragoza. This PDO is the oldest in the Autonomous Community of Aragón and one of the oldest and most traditional in Spain.
Its maceration and fermentation were carried out in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30ºC. It was aged in American oak barrels for 14 months.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

It has an intense cherry red colour, well covered, with garnet rim and violet tones, presented in a very dark bottle, with a sober and elegant design. The nose offers elegant and intense aromas of ripe fruit and spices, roasted over a balsamic background. On the palate it is structured, flavoursome and powerful, with fine, smooth and balanced tannins. Ample on the palate, with an elegant finish.

Pairing. How to taste it

Serve lukewarm, between 16 and 18 degrees. This wine is ideal with red meats, stews and roasts.

A little bit of history about 8.0.1 Limited Edition...

The first edition of this wine was launched in 2004 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the winery. The name 8.0.1 is given by the years of the grape varieties selected for its original production: Cabernet Sauvignon from 1998, Merlot from 2000 and Syrah from 2001.
8.0.1 has received several awards that endorse its quality. Among them are:
