A little bit of history about Mojito Almirante...

There is a theory that the mojito was born in the 16th century, in Cuba, at the hands of Richard Drake, an English navigator.

It is said that its purpose was curative and the truth is that a mojito, when it is hot, cures everything.

At the beginning, it was called draquecito and had brandy, but when a better quality rum began to be refined in Cuba, this replaced the brandy, becoming the new component of the draquecito.

This gave it the name as we know it today: mojito.
