Houblon Chouffe Biere Tripel Bier is the perfect blend that brings together the unique combination of the English tradition of Indian Pale Ale, the American innovation of Imperial Indian Pale Ale and the Belgian tradition.
Although it is a very hoppy beer, it gives us the perfect balance between a very strong Indian Pale Ale and a very special Belgian Tripel.
This beer is the perfect combination between these three hops: Tomahawk, Saaz and Amarillo that come together with fruity and spicy touches from the fermentation to give that characteristic touch; catalogued as the first Belgian Indian Pale Ale, it plays to combine the mentioned different beers to try to rescue what it represents.
It is drunk in a very versatile way and its result is simply remarkable in spite of its intensity and characteristics. This beer seeks to meet the conditions as an exemplary model of the Achouffe brewery to become one of those beers that we usually call "everyday".
Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste
Light yellow, golden and bright beer, which maintains sufficient clarity to appreciate a very lively carbonation for a white and compact foam that delights us with a delicate Belgian lace. Its aroma inspires us a memory of tangerine with a fine floral perfume and a soft alcohol that is perceived in deep nose. It has a bitter and fruity taste with great strength in the mouth, and a firm structure that allows us to perceive its firm bitterness without obtaining too much alcoholic character.
Pairing. How to taste it
It is recommended to be consumed at a temperature between 6°C and 8°C and its ideal pairing for this beer are grilled meats, pâtés, vegetables such as avocados and cucumbers, and fish such as herrings or fish soups.
A little bit of history about Houblon Chouffe...
Houblon Chouffe is brewed at the Achouffe-based Belgian brewery Brasserie d'Achouffe, which has been trading since 1982 and was bought by the Duvel Moortgat group in September 2006.
This brewery produces around 300,000 hectolitres of beer per year and exports it to 72 different countries. The Brasserie d'Achouffe brewery produces several beers such as La Chouffe, Mc Chouffe and Cherry Chouffe, as well as a spirit distilled from a 5 year old beer, the Esprit d'Achouffe, and a liquor made from this spirit, the Café Chouffe.
Furthermore, as a curiosity, there is a specific glass with the ideal shape and the logo of the brand to drink this particular beer.
It's in the Top 70 of economic and cheap products of Other Beers and in the Top 680 of our best seller products.

De las chouffe que he probado es la más amarga, al que le guste este tipo de cerveza, es ideal para ello. no quiero decir que sea mala sino que para mí es más amarga que otras.
