A little bit of history about Cherry Chouffe...

The Houblon Chouffe beer is produced in the Belgian brewery Brasserie d'Achouffe based in Achouffe, which has been selling since 1982 and started with less than 5,000 euros. Little by little its productivity grew and the two founding members, Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts decided to expand to the Netherlands. In September 2006 the company was bought by the Duvel Moortgat group.

This brewery produces about 300.000 hectolitres of beer per year and exports to 72 different countries. The Brasserie d'Achouffe brewery produces several beers such as La Chouffe, Mc Chouffe and Cherry Chouffe, as well as a spirit distilled from a 5 year old beer, the Esprit d'Achouffe, and a liquor made from this spirit, the Café Chouffe.

Furthermore, as a curiosity, there is a specific glass with the ideal shape and the logo of the brand to drink this particular beer.
