A little bit of history about Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin...

It was the year 2012, when Sebastian arrived, on a typical holiday visit, at his mother's country house and while everyone was resting after lunch, Sebastian went downstairs to explore the old cellar of the house. You can imagine what it was like, a place full of dust, cobwebs, old furniture, boxes and lots of boots to explore.

But in the midst of all this clutter, Sebastian found Grandpa Bobby's boot, where he discovered a sheet of paper on which was handwritten the original recipe for a gin that his grandfather made, inspired by the story of the original creator of Dutch Jenever gin, and along with it a bottle that still contained the drink.

Sebastian decided to look for the original creator of Jenever gin and found Herman Jansen, the seventh generation of the original creator.

Together they exchanged ideas and decided to start working together on the recipe for the current Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin, a unique gin that combines the tradition of Schiedam's Jenever with the exoticism of Indonesia's finest herbs and spices.
