Señorio de Rubiós Condado de Tea is a white wine made from the native white grapes of the Condado de Tea subzone, with the Riax Baixas Denomination of Origin.

These white grapes from this area are grown in the same plot, where the different varieties also ferment together in the same tanks. Made with the best Albariño, Treixadura, Loureira blanca, Godello and Torrontés grapes.

This whole process together gives rise to a very complex wine in flavour and aroma, due to the mixture of varieties, but a very tasty wine, elegant and with a fairly adjusted acidity, to be able to accompany meals and dinners in a perfect way.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Pouring a glass of Señorio de Rubiós Condado de Tea, it shows a very elegant straw yellow colour with small greyish tinges.

On the nose, the blend of grapes gives it a medium-high aromatic intensity, fruity, fresh and clean notes. The hints of green apple also come from the Treixadura grape.

On the palate, the complexity of flavour is present, but very tasty, easy to drink and with just the right acidity to leave us with a finish where the green apple notes reappear.

Pairing. How to taste it

We recommend serving this Señorio de Rubiós Condado de Tea at a chilled temperature between 8 and 10°.

This white wine is the ideal companion for any lunch or dinner with seafood, fish and salads.

A little bit of history about Señorío de Rubiós Condado de Tea...

The winery Señoria de Rubiós was born from an old idea of several local people who were looking for a way to enhance and promote the already well-known Rubiós red wines.

Thus, at the end of 2003, the first members laid the foundations of this idea and founded Señorío de Rubiós, which now has more than 100 members who work to put Rubiós wine in the place it has always deserved, by tradition, by its grape varieties and by the quality of its wines. Señorío de Rubiós is a different winery within the Denominación de Orixe Rías Baixas, as it is committed to the production of native red varieties without neglecting the production of white wines.

The fact that the winery is located in the Condado do Tea sub-area, with a clear commitment to native red varieties, such as sousón or pedral, as well as the white varieties that have always been present in O Condado, such as albariño, treixadura or loureira branca, makes it a different winery.
