This orange wine is obtained after a conscientious selection of muscatel grapes from Malaga collected in a late harvest. The alcohol that will be added during the process will have been macerated in orange peel to give it that characteristic flavor. After this, it is aged in oak barrels for a period of twelve months.

This sweet wine is conceived to delight the most exquisite palates due to its ideal characteristics and quality. These last two characteristics are also the reason why it is produced only in those years when the harvest offers a fruit with enough quality to give rise to a unique wine.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

This wine shows a bright and clean orange mahogany color.

In the nose, it presents deep and persistent aromatic touches, with a floral character reminiscent of orange blossom and jasmine.

The taste of this wine is silky, sweet without being cloying and caramelized. A complex and very long finish can be appreciated in the retro-nasal way.

This orange wine is the ideal companion for desserts and sweets. On the other hand, it surprises when combined in cocktails, being especially advisable to merge it, talking about taking it in a cocktail, with aged rum.

Bodegas Privilegio del Condado was born through the cooperative that emerged in 1955, although the origin of the work of the farmers in the area goes back to the discovery of the New World when they had no choice but to sell the grapes at very low prices.

In 1953, the farmers had a very good year in terms of the cultivation of the vines, this led them to consider a real revolution, with actions among which were to join and form a cooperative in order to look at the winemakers and compete in the market.

In 1962 the Designation of Origin was born, although from then on they always thought they could and should go further. This is how the Bodega Privilegio del Condado was born in 2002.
