Why buy Cava Agustí Torelló Mata Rosat Trepat Brut Reserva

This cava has been vinified after an eight-hour maceration and fermentation at 16°C for almost a month. The yeasts used have been obtained from the grape harvest, variety and estate itself, so that we do not lose the expression and characteristics of the original soil.

The ageing takes place in the bottle for twenty-two months at a constant temperature of 17°C.

The 2018 vintage was a late harvest but with three times as much water as the previous year, so the result is a good balance with less acidity.

Agustí Torelló Mata, a man devoted to cava since he opened the first wine analysis laboratory at the age of 18, which led him, together with his wife Carmen Sibill Cardús, to produce the first 500 bottles of cava in 1955.

Today, he has an annual production of 500,000 bottles of cava and 150,000 bottles of wine and is present in more than 30 different countries, under the management of his two children, Álex and Gemma.
