Why buy White Wine Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo

This A.O. Rueda comes from the Verdejo grape grown in the winery's vineyards in Serrada and La Seca. The must is extracted by means of a gentle pressing and then fermented with its finest lees in a very controlled process that results in a Verdejo of the highest quality.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

The first thing that catches the eye of Marqués de Cáceres Verdejo is its light yellow colour, with crystalline greenish touches.

When it is served in a glass and left to air, the smells it gives off are intense, highlighting the slightly citrusy white fruits.

Finally, on the palate it is ample, tasty, balanced and fresh, with a touch of grapefruit that gives it persistence.

Pairing. How to taste it

In Yo pongo el hielo we think that the best way to serve it between 6º and 8º C. It can be taken alone or combined with any type of fish or seafood.

Enrique Forner founded the Marqués de Cáceres winery in 1970, in the heart of Rioja, continuing the family vocation. In 2014 they bought 125 hectares to develop their first D.O. Rueda, and as usual with the products of this brand, it is being a success.
