Why buy Whisky Nomad Outland Whisky

This whisky is aged in the Scottish Highlands for 5 to 8 years before travelling to Jerez to be matured in Pedro Ximénez casks for at least another year.

The purpose of taking it to warmer, wetter lands is to take advantage of these changes in temperature and winds to give each bottle of Nomad a unique personality that distinguishes it from any other bottle of whisky.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

When we pour a glass of this whisky we appreciate a dark colour with bright reflections.

On the nose we can appreciate notes of Highland malt and hints of wood and sherry from the Andalusian region.

Finally, on the palate, we can distinguish tones of sultanas and honey wrapped in a soft touch of Pedro Ximénez, before a finish of vanilla and dried fruits.

How to taste it. Pairing

For true whisky lovers, we recommend simply serving it in a low, wide glass, and not accompanying it with anything other than a little ice if you like it cooler, or water if you like it softer.

A little history about ...

This whisky was born in the highlands of Scotland, where it has taken the purity of the place, mainly Speyside.

After ageing for a while in the Highlands it travels to the south of Spain to continue its history in a warmer and more humid land, such as the plains of Jerez, where it ages in Pedro Ximénez casks.
