A little bit of history about Speyburn Hopkins Reserve... 

In 1897 John Hopkins discovered a unique spot in the heart of Speyside, ideal for making exceptionally smooth whisky. Building a distillery in the steep, wooded glen by the Granty Burn was challenging. However, with abundant, pure water and the rich natural elements of this lush region of Scotland, it was worth the effort.

Hopkins Reserve was created as a tribute to their founder. It pays respect to his innovation, resourcefulness and ability to work with nature. Hopkins strived for quality and did everything he could to harness it. He recognized the difference the pure soft water, and gentle, fresh air if this tree-lined valley would make to his whisky. Today, we strive to meet his high standards and expectations, toasting his legacy with this delicate gem.
