Why buy Tequila Cascahuin Reposado

Tequila Cascahuín Reposado is an agave distillate with authentic character. Originating from El Arenal, Jalisco, this tequila is distinguished by its production process, which includes cooking in masonry ovens, giving it unique mineral notes.

After a period of 6 to 8 months in American oak barrels, Tequila Cascahuín Reposado is distinguished by its aromas of cooked agave, honey, and vanilla. This carefully timed rest allows the flavors to blend harmoniously, creating a unique sensory experience. The wood adds complexity and smoothness to the tequila's character, providing a perfect balance between sweetness and herbal notes, delighting the most discerning palates.

Tasting Notes. Sight, smell, and taste

When poured, Tequila Cascahuín Reposado displays an attractive yellow and golden color, a natural manifestation of its barrel aging. As you bring the glass to your nose, the captivating aromas of cooked agave, nuanced with delicate notes of honey and vanilla are revealed. When tasted, its peculiar earthy flavor is experienced, complemented by a gratifying sweetness, creating a truly memorable sensory experience.

How to enjoy it. Pairing

To fully enjoy Tequila Cascahuín Reposado, serve it in a tequila glass, allowing it to breathe for a few moments to release its aromas. Enjoy it sip by sip to appreciate its complexity, beginning by perceiving the tones of cooked agave, followed by the smooth notes of honey and vanilla. Perfect for pairing with Mexican dishes such as tacos al pastor or enchiladas, enhancing their earthy and sweet flavors with the spicy traditional cuisine.

A bit of Cascahuin Reposado's history...

The history of this tequila dates back to 1904, when Tequila Cascahuín began to honor the traditions of tequila production. Its founder, Salvador Rosales Briseño, devised the name "Cascahuín," which means "Hill of Light" or "Party on the Hill." The reposado, with its maturation in American oak barrels, is a tribute to the authenticity and quality of the agaves grown in the Jalisco valleys region.
