Why buy Sweet | Fortified Wine José Estévez Oloroso

José Estévez Oloroso, a fortified Jerez with intense character and aromatic complexity, the product of centuries-old tradition and meticulous artisanal craftsmanship.

José Estévez Oloroso is a unique Jerez, the result of prolonged aging in barrels of American oak that give it a deep mahogany color, notes of toasted nuts, spices, and a long, persistent finish.

Tasting Notes. Sight, Smell, and Taste

Nose: Intense aromas of toasted nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, dried figs, and raisins. Hints of vanilla, cinnamon, leather, and spices.

Palate: Smooth and velvety entry, evolving into a full-bodied and robust character. Flavors of nuts, spices, vanilla, coffee, and a mineral touch. Long and persistent finish.

How to Enjoy It. Pairing

Perfect to accompany aged cheeses, red meats, cured meats, pâtés, and chocolate-based desserts. It is recommended to serve slightly chilled in a red wine glass or tulip glass.
