A Bit of History about Armagnac Cles des Ducs...

The fascinating narrative of Armagnac Cles des Ducs dates back to the 18th century when Paul Baylac, Lord of Panjas, initiated distillation in Panjas. In 1924, the founder of Clés des Ducs acquired the vineyards from Dame Baylac, a descendant of Paul Baylac. Over time, the brand has changed hands, including stages with Cointreau and the Rémy Cointreau Group, until becoming part of Grupo Armanoir in 2008. Despite changes in ownership, the warehouses of Clés des Ducs have always remained in Panjas, solidifying the brand as a reference in the universe of Armagnac.
