Cruz de Alba Fuentelun is made with Tempranillo grapes that are fermented at temperatures below 24.5o C. Then, it remains in French oak barrels for 20 months, under the system of thirds; that is to say, 1/3 new barrels, 1/3 barrels of one year and 1/3 barrels of second year, refining the flavour and aroma in the last period in larger barrels.
