A little bit of history about Xicala Joven...

Xicala is distilled at the Tlacolula distillery in Oaxaca Mexico, which has been in operation since 1920, being the first government approved and certified mezcal distillery.

Each bottle is adorned with a handmade figurine made entirely by hand, using only handmade materials and dyes. Each figure represents a mythological being from the Mexican culture.
