India Pale Lagers are beers with a balanced flavour and highly carbonated (isobaric fermentation) which adds flavour and body. The aroma of hops and malt are easily perceived by the drinker. It is clear, golden in colour with a white head that does not last long. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied with a combination of bitterness and hints of tropical fruit and citrus flavours, leading to a dry and refreshing finish.
Pairing. How to taste it
We recommend serving Alegría del Mediterráneo chilled with salads, lightly seasoned dishes prepared with chicken or turkey, risottos, cold meats and snacks. Also, they are ideal when you are out for tapas.
A little bit of history about Alegría del Mediterráneo...
Cervezas Alegría is a company that was born from the desire of its creators to provide a space in which their customers can learn about the brewing process of their different varieties of beer and, at the same time, taste them and accompany them with quality tapas.
The Cervezas Alegría brewery is located in Massanassa, Valencia. They have launched different varieties of beer among which we find: Alegría del Valle (with a malty flavour and fruity aroma), Alegría Bitter del Sur (malty with hints of cereal or biscuit and floral aromas) and Alegría del Barrio (with citrus notes).
