Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 Años has an amber colour, with copper and ochre tones. When served, it gives off an extremely smooth, complex and warm aroma with exquisite and attractive hints of dried fruits, vanilla and toasted caramel. With a hint of plum and obvious copper notes, often found in copper pot stills of distilled spirits. On the palate, it is sweet and full-bodied, with toasty and vanilla flavours with an air of dulce de leche, a touch of oak and occasional hint of plum. Incredibly rich, smooth and velvety.

A little bit of history about Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 years...

Ron Matusalem is produced and bottled in San Diego, in the Dominican Republic, run by Dr. Claudio Álvarez Salazar, the great grandson of the founder.

In 2001, Salazar redirected the brand to produce only premium rums in an effort to return to the company's roots and in 2002 the brand was relaunched and a trio of new products were introduced to the rum market: Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 Solera, Matusalem Clasico and Platino.
