Barbadillo is a company dedicated to the production of wine of different denominations. Its history begins two centuries ago, when Benigno Barbadillo y Ortigüela and his cousin Manuel Löpez Barbadillo arrived from making a great fortune in Mexico. It was then that they bought the bodega "El Toro".
In 1827 they commercialised the first bottled manzanilla in the world, achieving great success.
Today it is an international group that, in addition to its historic winery, has added two more, thus adding designations of origin, such as Ribera del Duero and Somontano, with the wineries Viñedos Vega Real and Pirineos. Barbadillo is currently present in more than 50 countries and continues to plan its expansion.
