Why buy Vermuth Osborne Vermouth Red

Osborne Vermouth Rojo has a genuinely Andalusian character because it is made from the combination of two of its famous sherries, Medium and Pedro Ximénez.

A vermouth with a velvety character that culminates in a harmony of flavours from the careful selection of botanicals typical of the area, including wormwood, gypsy herb and a special touch of freshness from bitter orange peel.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

When you pour a glass of Osborne Vermouth Red, you are struck by its reddish mahogany colour, with bright orange reflections.

On the nose, it gives off complex aromas that combine with notes of oxidative ageing with hints of spices. Wormwood stands out over soft notes of gypsy herb, cinnamon, nutmeg and bitter orange peel.

On the palate, it has a velvety taste with a great balance between the bitterness of the botanicals and the sherry traits (dried fruits and sultanas).

Pairing. How to taste it

Osborne Vermouth Red is ideal to enjoy on the rocks with a slice of fresh orange.

A little bit of history about Osborne Vermouth Red...

The history of Osborne dates back to the end of the 18th century, when a young English merchant, Thomas Osborne Mann, arrived in Cádiz to market the wines of the area. He soon began to do business in Puerto de Santa María and it was there that he acquired several bodegas which he would later merge under a single brand name: Osborne.

Its long and impeccable history of almost 250 years has turned Osborne into the great business group it is today, with great fame and international recognition.

It's in the Top 30 of economic and cheap products of Vermuth and in the Top 1940 of our best seller products.
