Why buy Red Wine Tagus Roble

This wine is made from 100% Cabernet-Franc grapes harvested in their own vineyard, located in the Serranía de Ronda, which makes it have the Designation of Origin of the Sierras de Málaga. Matured for about 4 months in French oak barrels, it is then stabilised, filtered and bottled. The wine then rests for a final rounding off before it is ready to be consumed.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

To the sight we can perceive that it is a wine of high layer, with an intense colour reminiscent of black plum, with violet edges.
Our nose will be strongly seduced by its aroma with a touch of cherry liqueur and well-integrated wood.
In the mouth it has a strong presence, with well-marked tannins and a good taste of hazelnut liqueur.

Pairing. How to taste it

Serve lukewarm, at around 15 degrees. This wine is ideal to accompany fatty foods such as meats, pasta, salads, rice dishes and cold meats.

A little bit of history about Tagus Roble...

Tagus means Gorge in Latin, Tajo in Spanish. The "Tajo de Ronda" is one of the most spectacular geographical features that can be witnessed by humans, and it is the most representative tourist attraction of the town. On the label of the bottle we can see it represented in a very modern artistic style.
Tagus has received several awards that endorse its quality. These include:
