Why buy Other Beers Duvel 6.66

As the brand's slogan says: "brewed to be lived", i.e. brewed to be served. Nothing more to add, enjoy this fantastic Duvel 6.66%, a great Belgian Blond Ale with bottle refermentation.

It is a typical Duvel beer but with a sweet, aromatic and refreshing taste, thanks to the 6 varieties of hops used in its production. The Saaz and Styrian Golding hop varieties as a base are balanced with the other four varieties selected by experts using the dry-hopping technique.

This natural beer has a subtle bitterness, a refined taste and character achieved by the hops used in the brewing process.

In addition, the refermentation in the bottle and the long maturation period give it a pure character with a pleasant sweet alcoholic taste.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Duvel 6.66% has a full-bodied, warm blonde colour.
Its aroma is aromatic and fruity, with a lively, fruity finish from the orange zest and dry-hopping.

Pairing. How to taste it

A beer that goes very well when chilled and accompanied by cold meats or even with some meats, vegetables and fish.

A little bit of history about Duvel 6.66...

In 1871, the Moortgat brewery was founded by Jan-Léonard Moortgart and his wife, making this brewery one of the best in Belgium at the end of the century.

When the two sons of the family business, Albert and Victor, joined the family business, the current name of the beer was achieved, since at one of the tastings they organised, a resident surprised by the aromas exclaimed "it's a real devil", a "duvel" in Belgian.

Since 2000, the fourth generation of the family has been involved in the company, but the previous generation wanted to give the beer a distinctive touch by creating its own glass in which the beer should be drunk, "the Duvel glass".

It's in the Top 60 of economic and cheap products of Other Beers and in the Top 620 of our best seller products.
