This craft beer belongs to a style called Pilsner. Vedett Extra Pilsner was a lager created by Albert Moorgat for export. Jan-Leonard Moorgat, Albert's father, was the founder of the Duvel Moorgat brewery in 1871, at that time Belgium had approximately 4000 breweries, this made the beginning not exactly easy for Jan, but thanks to his work and the passion he showed in what he did he managed to forge a loyal clientele to his beers.

Years later his two sons Albert and Victor joined the family business, Albert as brewer, and Victor as distributor. Albert, as a good brewmaster, wanted to find the ideal yeast strain, so he moved to Scotland, after finding several obstacles in his way, he finally managed to find the strain that he wanted so much.

At sight we observe a beer with a yellow color together with a golden touch and a fine white foam. In its aroma we can find nuances of tropical fruits such as orange and a subtle finish to cereals.
