A Bit of History About Pisco 1615 Pure Italia...
Pisco 1615 has a fascinating history. Over 10 years ago, a group of dreamers decided to explore the past and rescue the history of the Pisco grape. Thus, the Bodega 1615 was born, located in the province of Pisco itself, where some of the first wine and Pisco grapes in Peru were cultivated and harvested.
The winery is named after the year 1615, when the cultivation of the vine was first recorded in Peru and its adaptation to the climate and soil of the Pisco region. This winery is the only one that produces Pisco in the province that bears its name, and that is a source of pride.
Bodega 1615 has vineyards approximately 20 years old. Its equipment includes 2 French-style copper stills, each with a capacity of 1,500 liters. Annually, they distill over 600,000 liters of Pisco, making them leaders in Europe and the Middle East.
