Why buy Hard Liqueur Pisco 1615 de Puros Acholado

It owes its name to the year in which the cultivation of grapes for distilling and producing the first piscos was first recorded.

We are talking about a Pisco Puro distilled in the Bodega de San Nicolás, with grapes from the vineyards of Lanchas, in Pisco. During its elaboration, it is kept for 6 months in resting before its commercialisation.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Clean, bright and colourless.

Its aromas are sweet with hints of banana and apple, and citrus nuances.

In the mouth it has a warm flavour with sensitive notes of apple.

How to taste it. Pairing

It is the perfect pisco for Pisco Tonic and Chilcano:

• For the Pisco Tonic you should fill ¾ of a highball glass with ice and then pour 60 ml of Pisco 1615 Acholado and fill with tonic water, stir it and it would be ready to drink, although you can add a few drops of lemon, a little sugar or a couple of drops of Angostura bitters, according to your taste.
• For the Chilcano you must add in a glass 30 ml of Pisco 1615 Acholado, 15 ml of lemon juice, a few drops of Angostura bitters and 3 gr. of sugar, then stir it well until the sugar dissolves and pour it in a glass with ice, a slice of lemon and Ginger Ale to taste.

Pisco 1615 was born in Pisco, where it is located since then and today, to honour those who started with the cultivation more than 400 years ago.

From there, they rescue the history to represent the new times and incorporate the contemporary knowledge of distillation and mixology.
