Elephant Gin is produced by hand in the outskirts of Hamburg, using artisanal methods of production, using rare plants from all over Africa and Europe. True to the definition of a London Dry Gin, Elephant Gin flavor is achieved through the distillation of natural botanical ingredients, no artificial flavorings added.

Elephant Gin is produced using the traditional method of distillation in copper still, designed and built by Arnold Holstein.

Distilled in small batches of 800 bottles, the gin is tested regularly to ensure that impurities are removed. The whole process gives gin its purity, its complexity and smoothness.

Elephant Gin is distilled using fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients from across the continent, to create a distinctive flavor profile.

All botanical ingredients are carefully selected and are hand picked to limit impurities. Whether using African botanical or using fresh apples from the orchards surrounding the distillery. Elephant Gin ensures that only the finest botanicals are used. All ingredients are left together to macerate for a day, ensuring that the optimal level of flavor is extracted. These include fruits of Baobab Savannah, Buchu with a similar taste that blackcurrant and African wormwood to introduce a sharp floral flavor note. Spring water from a local sourced, fresh apples and other select ingredients.
