Why buy Pacharan Basarana Black Label

And here is the most awarded Pacharán in the world! The Pacharán Basarana Black Label was first produced in 1972 and following the old method of slow maceration at rest, makes it unique, exquisite and necessary to be in our possession.

The Bodegas hijos de Pablo Esparza winery produces this Pacharán Basarana Black Label with Las Cadenas aniseed. They use more than 250 grams of the best macerated sloes from wild pacharanes, together with the ancient method of slow maceration at 29° in 6 months at rest, achieving the unique and unmistakable flavour.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

Its presentation in a classic bottle will take you back to the time when pacharán was made in the homes of Navarre. Once served, it has a ruby red colour with brownish tones.

On the nose, those fruity aromas with a touch of aniseed will envelop you from the moment you open the bottle.

On the palate, all of the above is united in a velvety balance and persistent flavour that, when you taste it, you will find exquisiteness made into a drink.

Pairing. How to taste it

An after-dinner drink after a long meal, the moment to round off a great tribute or those Christmas lunches or dinners, is where you are going to enjoy this pacharán the most... A good digestion always with a good pacharán!

That's why from Yo pongo el Hielo, we recommend you to drink this Pacharán Basarana Black Label in its three best forms and in an aniseed glass, or if you don't have it, in a snifter.

You can drink it on its own, where you will truly appreciate all the aromas it has. You should have it cold beforehand, having previously refrigerated it, as well as preserving it afterwards so that it maintains all its properties.

You can also drink it with ice if it is not refrigerated, but the aromas and flavour are lost a little.

As a combination we can add natural orange juice or orange soda, and we will have in front of us the so-called "Butano", where we will serve it in a tube glass with ice.

A little bit of history about Basarana Black Label...

The Basarana las Cadenas Group is a 100% Navarrese family business that was founded in 1872. At the beginning, their distillery was dedicated to the commercialisation of wines and spirits, where aniseed would undoubtedly stand out, which would become known as Las Cadenas. Nowadays, the fifth generation is in charge of these wineries and their different varieties of products, where pacharán is the jewel in the crown.

Pacharán Basarana Black Label was born for the first time in 1972, initiating the old process of slow maceration at rest. All this has led it to be the most awarded Pacharán in the world for many years.

It's in the Top 10 of economic and cheap products of Pacharan and in the Top 1140 of our best seller products.
